Everything is frozen at Wychbold including us Our noses are without feeling our fingers blue toes what toes havent felt those for a couple of hours think we still all have five on each foot. Ouch someone skidded on the ice we laugh. Oh why didnt we stay in bed this Sunday morning like a normal person. We look around all eyes are upon us expectantly Barney the goose talks to us in his own inimitable way there is the beautiful male swan that crashed a few days ago r the juvenile that had to have an operation to remove a hook from his throat oh and the swan that had such high lead levels in her blood she amazed us all by still being with us. We break the ice and give them grass and corn talk to them ease their problems a little. Yes its freezing and bitter winds hurl themselves around our cold faces but we look at those eyes and we know and are happy that we are here.............
